This is the place to go if you have to have a colonoscopy. The staff is very friendly and courtesy with each patient. When I got back to the room Dr Baidelli was waiting on me. Then the nurses prepped me for the procedure and it was on.
I went back for a six month checkup after some extensive testing and treatment on a swallowing problem as well as anemia. They were looking for loss of blood but never found anything conclusive. The medication prescribed has worked very well and I could not be happier. The checkup was a pleasure from check-in to check- out. Everyone was pleasant and professional. I had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes before I was called back. Otherwise the experience was good. Nurses doctor and staff were very professional and polite.
Everything went smoothly. I mean, who like doing colonoscopy prep? That said, they sent you email and text reminders about each step of the way, registration and reception staff were lovely, Drs and Nurses were respectful and kind, blankets were heated, details were asked. I was impressed with the facility as well. Spotlessly clean, spacious waiting room, plenty of chairs. I barely waited. All in all I thought DHP was great and I would recommend to anyone in the area.

I was very happy the way my prep went / I had not gotten all the prep information until monday, so I was worried I may NOT go as planned but all went well & Dr. Varner gave me a great report. So thank you to all the staff for a job well done.
The PA, Ryan Nelson addressed my concerns with understanding and care. Minimal invasive approaches were recommended with full explanations of the incremental steps/options/procedures available, if further treatment is needed. A check in, via the portal or a call was recommended so that progress for the treatment would be noted. I felt great relief and was more informed about my issues after talking with Ryan. My experience of having a Colonoscopy by Dr Varner at the Hendersonville location was excelent as always. The staff was excellent and the facility is great. Dr Varner has been the gastroenterologist for my wife and myself for over 35 years. He is absolutely the best.
