If you can say having a colonoscopy is important it is, but the steps before is not exciting but needed. I was grateful for the texts sent for each step of the process helped me stay focused on the process. It would be great if there was another way than drinking the gallon. Oh well the procedure was painless and over before you know it. Thank you for the care involved in having it done the staff was 😊 great.
Exceptionally nice practice. From the front desk, staff, to the medical assistant to the doctor himself. Dr. Perez and his partners should be very proud of the practice they have built.
Had my first visit yesterday. Dr. O'Connnell made me feel heard and seen, he was very thorough and thoughtful and best provider I've seen in a while. I feel confident about my health being managed and treated here. The office staff were kind and very helpful also.
Every one was very special and took care of me like a was a new born. The young, beautiful lady anesthesiologist from Alabama made me feel real special. Doctor Perez is a jewel and has a great respect for his patient. The day before prep was horrible but when I left after the procedure I felt real good.
This was first time having this procedure done at this location because I’ve recently moved here from SC. Everything went as planned and from the receptionist, nurses and Doctor , everyone were kind and respectful. Not much waiting time and my procedure was quick. The time I was in the recovery after waking up, I asked what time will I be going in for my procedure. Not knowing that it was already done. Great Job! Staff, and will recommend anyone of friends to get their procedure at this office. Again, thanks.
Everything about my care at DHP was excellent EXCEPT their communication regarding scheduling and appointment confirmation. I called TWICE the day before to confirm my arrival time, got a voicemail recording both times, left a message requesting a callback, but never got one. I then scheduled to arrive at the time posted on DHPs patient portal , only to get a call when I was en route telling me that I was late. Waited over an hour for appointment. He did apologize for the delay, however. The appointment itself was very thorough and pleasant.
The doctor I saw was very informative and the staff members who helped me were great. Overall, a very good experience. If there was any downside, it was that it was over half an hour before I got in to see the doctor. I had to be there at noon for a 12:30 appointment.
I had my first colonoscopy done at DHP and the doctor and staff are efficient and go above and beyond in making sure you are comfortable and at ease. One nurse even gave me a warmed blanket. It was very much appreciated.
