Excellent care. Prompt, courteous and professional
Overall my visit was smooth, and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. My initial appointment was set up within 1.5 weeks of my GP’s referral, and I was seen just a few days later. I was then scheduled for a colonoscopy just 5 days out! If possible I would leave 4.5 stars, as my visit was phenomenal with the only holdup being that I had to enter much of the same intake information 2 times online (new patient forms/patient portal update) and again on paper upon arrival. I was informed that I was due for my annual check-up. I requested that I would be seen in the Brevard office. PA Ryan Nielsen asked me a good amount of questions and I informed him of the issues and concerns I was having. He listened very attentively and then suggested a number of ways to address the problems. Mr. Nielsen is extremely knowledgeable. I am greatly impressed every time I see him. Very efficient and professional. The infusion nurse is very courteous and goes out of her way to help you and make you comfortable.
My experience with the physician’s assistant, Ryan was outstanding. He exceeded my visit expectations! He is very knowledgeable about GI issues, nutrition and Took time to discuss my concerns. Dr Varner has always been a favorite of mine and others, however, I highly recommend Ryan.
I was notified well in advance, received the call on time and the transmission was clear and stable.
The entire staff is friendly and knowledgeable I I saw the P.A. Carrie. She spent a long time talking with me and going over a plan for my continuing treatment. I really feel like she listens to me. I highly recommend Asheville Gastro!
When I walked to the window to register, I was greeted in a warm and friendly way. The nurse came shortly to walk me back. She was friendly and quickly put me at ease. She gave me a warmed gown and blanket!! The nurse anesthetist answered all my questions, as I had been worried. The physician explained what was going on and nest thing I knew I was awake! It experience was so professional yet homey that my husband signed up for his colonoscopy the same day!!!!
