I've been a patient at this location, Asheville, for over 20 years. They're always attentive to my needs. I find them to be very effiecient, and easy to talk to.
My daughter sees Dr. Fisher for treatment related to Crohn’s disease and recommended that I should also see her. My digestive issues don’t always fit into a neat box and I’ve been extremely frustrated in the past with GI doctors who’ve not even tried to help. Dr. Fisher listened, and then educated me on what was my responsibility for managing my condition and what was possible from the medical side to create the best quality of life possible. I am so grateful for her counsel, guidance, and respect.
Everyone here is fabulous! The girls up front are very kind and understanding, the doctor is very patient and willing to answer all questions, and when you go into the front office for scheduling, your needs are considered and respected. This is a wonderful practice!
Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor that was in charge of my procedures treated me with respect and kindness. Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. I have no complaints.

This visit was unique in my experience and a very satisfactory boost in my confidence regarding physicians practicing their calling at Asheville Gastroenterology! Dr. May had paid attention to my medical history, asked questions to be certain of clear understanding, and advised me of his medical opinion without closing any other options for my consideration. I was very pleased with the care I received for my very first Colonoscopy. From the check in, to the nurse who hooked up my IV, to the Dr who talked to me before and after my procedure, to the Anesthesiologist who talked to me before and after my procedure, to the tech who assisted in the room during my procedure, to the nurse who talked to me when everything was finished and offered me something to drink and also removed my IV.
