The staff and providers are always friendly and willing to listen. I have had nothing but positive experiences with DHP.
From the beginning to the procedure was great. Everyone treated you with kindness and respect. I told Barnard that I didn’t want the needle in my hand because it hurts later and gets black and blue. He had no choice, he put it on the top of my hand. Honestly, I didn’t feel a think and you can’t even tell where he put the needle in. Everyone is very professional and with smiles on their faces
Had a really great experience for my second colonoscopy. My first one was ten years ago in another state. Digestive Health Partners made it very easy from check in to pre op to the actual test and the recovery. Dr. Varner checked in with me prior to explain the procedure. The anesthesiologist was clear in his explanation and was friendly as was the nurse during the procedure. The pre prep went very well. He met with me afterwards to explain any findings. I have been a patient with this group for over 20 years. I have always been very pleased with the doctors and also any procedure that I’ve gone through. I have found that Dr. May is always willing to discuss any questions you might have and take the time you need to understand. I highly recommend this group.
I felt good after the nurse came and got me, she said I'm your nurse today and I will take care of you. Then the sleep lady said she woul keep a good eye on me. I was really scared. I never had that procedure done except in the hospital. I will definitely give them 5 stars.

Great experience overall. Didn't have to wait long, either in the waiting room or the exam room. Doctor Whitlock spent more time with me than many doctors, and he treated me like I was smart enough to understand what he had to say. All the medical assistants and office staff were friendly and helpful.
I have been seeing Dr Harlan for 7 years. He is amazing. He listens, I never feel rushed and I know that he cares. When moving to a new state it is scary to figure out who to see for your medical issues. I feel that Dr Harlan (and everyone else in DHP that I have come in contact with) are committed to helping me deal with my digestive issues. Thank you!
A colonoscopy is a real pain in the ass, if that wasn't an inside joke, it should be, they had that balance between focus and clinical detachment that I think is critical. They were very procedural. They probably see, you know, i'm six hundred butts a week, but they seem to be in tune with the fact that for us undergoing the procedure. This is not a routine thing.
