My first time getting the recommended Colonoscopy- just going for my initial consult with the Gastroenterologist there were alot of questions and concerns that I came in with. He addressed each one, gave recommendations to address my individual health concerns and calmed my anxiety! The office team work well together and efficiently for a busy practice. It does help to register on their patient portal ahead of time if possible! Better than expected office visit, thanks!!
Sarah, NP, was very attentive and listened to my symptoms. She was very friendly and informative as to things I can try to alleviate my symptoms. All staff was very polite and helpful.

The stars aligned this week when I had called for a 1first available appt with Dr Fisher. Usually booked way out she had a cancellation availability early the following morning. I was very fortunate. She’s a compassionate, smart, patient-driven doctor.Asheville Gastroenterology facility has revamped their web capabilities and actually return calls in extremely quick time. Very thorough and detailed paperwork and electronic documentation. My doctor was thorough, patient and kind. All of my questions were answered and I felt confident in my upcoming procedures.
The entire staff was amazing! Even though they were super busy, everyone took time to make me feel comfortable and well informed throughout the entire procedure. This is my second time here and both times (5 years apart) were excellent. Highly recommend
Entire staff were very informative, attentive and compassionate. I arrived early, was taken back immediately and had my procedure 20 minutes before the originally scheduled time. Nursing staff, nurse anesthetist, and Dr. May were all splendid…as was the Diet Pepsi I received for being such a good patient…undoubtedly a reward for prepping well! Great job AG staff!
