I arrived on time and was taken back for the usual- blood pressure, oxygen levels, weight. The office called earlier to confirm some questions so I did not have to fill anything out when I got there. I had a small wait time but I think that’s good because the doctor was taking his time to answer all the patient’s questions. Dr. Garvin was excellent. Took the time to review my history before the exam, fully explained all treatment options, entertained questions. Intellectual doctor and very knowledgeable.
My first time getting the recommended Colonoscopy- just going for my initial consult with the Gastroenterologist there were alot of questions and concerns that I came in with. He addressed each one, gave recommendations to address my individual health concerns and calmed my anxiety! The office team work well together and efficiently for a busy practice. It does help to register on their patient portal ahead of time if possible! Better than expected office visit, thanks!!
Sarah, NP, was very attentive and listened to my symptoms. She was very friendly and informative as to things I can try to alleviate my symptoms. All staff was very polite and helpful.

The stars aligned this week when I had called for a 1first available appt with Dr Fisher. Usually booked way out she had a cancellation availability early the following morning. I was very fortunate. She’s a compassionate, smart, patient-driven doctor.Asheville Gastroenterology facility has revamped their web capabilities and actually return calls in extremely quick time.
