I understand that people feel they can never see their GI doc anymore. They are very busy with necessary procedures, as well as understaffed and stressed. I’ve seen two PA’s at Digestive Health Partners, most recently Darryl Meadows. In each case I found them to be completely knowledgeable and helpful. I had myself all worked up about the procedure and the hardest part for me was the no food. I have other issues and that seemed to really kick them in, but as far as everyone involved, they were great!
I highly recommend DHP especially because the staff is absolutely stellar every visit and communication. Dr. Zivony has been attentive and caring. I have never felt that he wasn't listening, I am definitely part of the team. Elise, his RN, has been on top of every issue showing concern as well.
Outstanding experience yesterday for my colonoscopy. Every staff member went out of their way to be wonderful!!! How do they find so many caring, connecting folks from the intake registration person to the nurse who got me ready to the anesthetist to Dr Harlan and aftercare nurse, they made even a colonoscopy a good experience!
