All staff was exceptional. They care about you.
Years ago, I had a very bad experience with Asheville Gastro and really avoided returning until my primary doctor wouldn't let me avoid it any longer. The recent experience I had was a completely different story. Once the referral was received, the scheduler politely and professionally guided me through the necessary intake procedures. Everything from the scheduling to the pre-visit communications to the day-of procedure was handled thoroughly and professionally. There is a lot to be aware of with this procedure, especially the prep, so the detailed and regular reminders were super helpful. The staff were all fantastic too, which says a lot knowing how hard they are working and how many folks they see each day.
The wait time was minimal & everyone was very curious. Dr. Dukowicz took his time with me and answered all my questions. Great visit!
I've had two appointments with this group and both visits wait time was minimal. Very friendly staff from the front desk on and they seem to know just how to take away any anxiety patients might experience...very happy that they will be taking care of my issues going forward.

My experience was excellent. The staff is the best. I was in and out in about 90 minutes for a scheduled colonoscopy. I really liked the warm blanket and gown. It was a good experience.
Everyone extremely professional! I really trust Dr. Fisher! Only downfall is the phone system. Once you are a patient the online portal works great for communication !
