21 hours ago I went for a follow up appointment. As soon as you walk in to the lobby it was obvious they were going to make sure that you were going to be protected from the virus. As much as they could. Very happy meeting Dr Joe Decosta for the first time. Very pleasant & knowledgeable, did not feel he was rushing me at all
This was my first experience with this facility and doctor. From start to completion the visit/procedure was wonderful. The front desk staff were pleasant, helpful, the nurses were the same as well. Very kind and patient. My doctor was compassionate, explained my results. My husband was able to wait inside with me and for that I can not express the amount of comfort that gave me. I am a father of two who had been to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona, never having been in a remission from colitis; they could not help me. I worked very hard and went into Iraq while bleeding / hiding my illness, working for my family as a Contractor. 19 months later, I could no longer hide the illness from employers stateside and was let go for a number of reasons, most of which really had to do with an inability to stay at my desk or going to the ER and calling in sick. I have had multiple colonoscopies at Asheville Digestive Health and have always received the best of care from Dr. Newcomer and the endoscopy center staff. I would recommend it to anyone who asked about the center and practice.
Everyone from the time I walked into the office until I left was very nice. Made me feel very comfortable while I was there. I will defiantly go back. And tell anyone who need a Gastrology Doctor this is the place to go!!🤗
