While probably most patients don't look forward to a colonoscopy, DHP makes this as calm, comfortable and informative as one could hope to expect. Of course, we patients don't have a clue as to what goes on while we're sedated. My screening colonoscopy experience was extremely smooth. My preparation instructions were clear. The entire staff was pleasant and attentive. I felt like I was in great hands with the CRNA who provided my sedation. My doctor was engaged, answered all of my questions, and helped me understand my personal risk of colon cancer and my plan for screening in the future.
