For an unpleasant procedure (colonoscopy) the total procedure from start to finish was comfortable and the staff was compassionate and professional. Thank you all for making this procedure as comfortable as possible.
A positive and comfortable experience for a procedure one would never associate those two words with usually. Everyone involved with the procedure was very professional and compassionate; dedicated to the patient's need. Every aspect of the procedure from beginning to recovery was explained in detail and easily understood. From start to finish this was a positive experience, and that is hard to say about a colonoscopy! :) Martie was great at check in, the nurse, the nurse anesthetist, and Dr. Cender were all very competent, courteous, and compassionate.
I could not be happier with the service and treatment I received during a recent colonoscopy, everything from checking in to checking out. The staff was cordial, friendly, polite, direct and to the point to ensure that I fully understood what was going to happen. While this is not a procedure I ever look forward to, your staff made the entire experience as pleasant as it could possibly be. It's hard to believe anyone could have done a better, more efficient job.

I had a uniformly excellent experience yesterday with an endoscopic examinay by Dr. Perez. I'm a local family physician who was fortunate to be taught GI medical care by the Asheville Gastroenterology physicians at Mission and St Joe's 20-plus years ago. The quality of Asheville Gastroenterology is very high. I have complete confidence in the group's physicians and the staff. Every staff member I contacted yesterday was attentive and acted completely responsible for the high quality of their role in my care.
