Tamara was able to provide insights I was not aware of, in particular regarding several of the supplements I have been using for a long time, along with medications I can ask my medical providers about. Her list of foods as part of the GI Gentle Diet will definitely be useful to me. She is knowledgeable and personable and really listens.
Tamara is incredibly knowledgeable about GI issues. She has a wealth of experience working with GI patients. I feel like she knows more about practical GI issues than many gastroenterologists, although she is quick to point out she is not a doctor. She is very intelligent and is a terrific listener. I have found Tamara Frueman MS, RD, CDN to be of great help. She is really bright and is a expert in sensitive food and GI conditions. She is a compassionate, caring listener and I trust her to give me the best information possible. After just a few visits I have made some important changes with my diet and I am beginning to feel better.

I saw Tamara at the suggestion of my gastroenterologist in the same practice for some advice on managing my GERD/acid reflux without adding more meds. She was fantastic, offering advice on foods to avoid, foods to enjoy, and even the timing of meals and snacks. Her approach is practical, helpful and actionable, and her suggestions have already yielded improvement!!
