The intricate relationship between how food and nutrients interact with the digestive tract captured my attention early on during my dietetics training, and I realized that nutritionists can play an essential role in helping people managing a variety of gastrointestinal symptoms and disorders. I think every gastroenterology practice should have an expert GI dietitian on staff, and research confirms that patients with functional GI disorders who have access to multi-disciplinary care (including dietitians) have better quality... read more

Lots of knowledge- warmth - patience- support and understanding. She knows her stuff and has definitely helped me in the issues i needed to address!
When I consulted with Tamara Freuman 2 years ago, she gave me clear and helpful information that enabled me to make significant changes in my diet. Now, there have been some changes to my health, so I consulted her again. In both experiences, Tamara explained how several of the limitations I thought I would be continuing to live with were not necessary. She encouraged me to try some food I had thought I could not eat and indicated where small portions would be preferable. She also discussed how different preparations could aff... read more

Tamara was able to provide insights I was not aware of, in particular regarding several of the supplements I have been using for a long time, along with medications I can ask my medical providers about. Her list of foods as part of the GI Gentle Diet will definitely be useful to me. She is knowledgeable and personable and really listens.
Tamara is incredibly knowledgeable about GI issues. She has a wealth of experience working with GI patients. I feel like she knows more about practical GI issues than many gastroenterologists, although she is quick to point out she is not a doctor. She is very intelligent and is a terrific listener. Tamara has written two great books about GI problems that are essential reads for patients suffering with these issues. I have learned so much from reading these books. Patients should be grateful that she took the time and expen... read more
Love Tamara! She's THE BEST dietitian. Always helps my husband and me no matter how complex the problem. A truly knowledgeable, caring, and thoughtful person and professional.
I have found Tamara Frueman MS, RD, CDN to be of great help. She is really bright and is a expert in sensitive food and GI conditions. She is a compassionate, caring listener and I trust her to give me the best information possible. After just a few visits I have made some important changes with my diet and I am beginning to feel better.
Tamara Freeman helped me identify the dietary source of some long-standing GI pain. She also makes great suggestions to tackle the diet of this picky eater with GI problems. I can't recommend her enough!
Tamara is exceptionally knowledgeable and very personable. All of her recommendations without exception have proven to be very helpful.
