My visit was to very efficient. Staff in the clinic helpful and pleasant. Dr. Kavaler did my colonoscopy and explained me everything.
My husband is elderly with multiple serious health issues. Dr. Kavaler advised us up front that his colonoscopy must be done in a hospital setting, which Dr. Kavaler does not do. In spite of that we had a lengthy discussion In which he patiently advised us on how to proceed elsewhere. He kindly offered to be of any help he could in the future. My husband and I felt well directed after our conversation. Also, he has done my colonoscopies in the past and I will continue to go to him in the future. Excellent bedside manner.
Dr. Kavaler is a remarkable human being as well as a fabulous gastroenterologist who has helped me innumerable times over the past 20 years. He is always there for his patients, his bedside manner is wonderful, he is caring and reassuring, and he never hesitates to find the best solution to a patient's health issues. Dr. K's team is equally caring and competent. In my opinion, Dr. Kavaler's knowledge and skills as a doctor are exceptional. I believe anyone would feel in good hands to have him as their physician.

I needed to address a past digestive issue that began to crop up again just before a trip to India. Toby saw me right away and we developed a plan that has so far helped my digestive disorder settle down so I can go on my trip without concern. Thank you to her and the whole team at the office.
