I enjoyed doing my appointment documents online prior to my appointment. I had a great appointment. The sign in was quick, all the staff were very friendly, & Ryan Nelson, PA had a great review with me & scheduled me for Endoscopy quickly 5️⃣ days later. I look forward to my testing tomorrow 👍🏻
The staff moves you efficiently and courteously through the not-so-pleasant process of having a colonoscopy. Steps are explained thoroughly and succinctly both, which is a rare combination. Good humor and friendliness abound alongside professionalism and strong patient care.
I have been a patient of Asheville Gastroenterology for several years. Dr. Zivony is a great physician who does my colonoscopy. Darrell Meadows, PA is normally who I see and he is wonderful. I had a good experience with Digestive Health Partners. The communication was outstanding both before and during my procedure. All of the staff who cared for me were reassuring and willing to take time to answer all my questions or to provide important information even before I asked.
Let me say I was absolutely terrified. This was my first colonoscopy and I have avoided it all my life. My doctor told me I really needed to do this and so I just decided to tough it out and make myself do it. (still terrified lol) I’m not gonna lie, the prep was rough. However, from the time I entered the facility the procedure was as smooth and easy as silk. 1) The nurse who placed my IV was gentle and very kind. 2) The anesthesiologist was absolutely the best. Professional staff, easy scheduling, great Patient Portal for your needs with your provider. Dr. Meyer is the best, she creates a one on one relationship with the patient. Overall, easy in and easy office visits.
