I don't think DHP will ever have a low star review for thoroughness. :) Between their communication and correspondence leading up to my colonoscopy, to the harrowing preparation prior to going in (no fault of theirs), I felt as ready as I could. By far the best part of my in person experience was with my nurse, Mary. She was friendly, kind, and personable and my husband claims I woke up from the anesthesia asking about her- HA! Such a professional experience from start to finish. The staff made me feel comfortable and truly cared for during the entire procedure. From the check-in staff to the doctor, everyone was phenomenal!
My doctor was very caring and well informed about my liver condition and advised me well as to how to care for my liver health. She is a good doctor and very professional.

This practice is well organized and gives very thorough instructions before the procedure. I followed them closely and had no problems. Each person I met was cheerful and made sure I knew exactly what to expect. I felt well cared for.
I met with Dr. Harlan to discuss how we might evaluate causes of recent weight loss and inability to gain weight. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough, helping me to feel I was in great hands. After the appointment I was also appreciative of the schedulers, who were efficient as well as friendly.
I don’t know how they do it - but they somehow pull it off. They run their surgi-center like a well oiled machine, but still manage to make you feel that they care about you, your concerns/fears, your diagnosis and prognosis. That’s people, helping people, with genuine caring and a single-minded goal of helping their patients through the rough patches! Thank you Dr. Cender; Bill the CRNA; and too many others to remember/name!!

But I did get medicine prescribed for the symptoms, which gives me a great deal of hope that I will be able to talk more clearly without congestion in my throat.
