She was very patient and kind and took the time to understand my symptoms.
I had a great experience with Dr. Tuyama. I went in for a colonoscopy consultation. She was able to explain why its recommended, what the process is and what to expect. She's very easy to talk to and I feel very comfortable with the process. I look forward to working with her!
I had an upper endoscopy with Dr. Tuyama and she was great. She explained the results to me very clearly and in a way that made sense to me as someone without a medical degree. She was patient and kind with my questions as well, which is rare in a doctor! Her team (especially the anesthesiologist) was incredible and so kind to me when I was clearly nervous for the procedure. I will continue to see Dr. Tuyama.
Dr Tuyama listened attentively to my concerns, ordered a diagnostic test, made diet and a supplement recommendation. I look forward to discussing the test results with her when they become available.
Dr. Tuyama took time to understand my symptoms and ordered tests to rule out possible diagnoses. She prescribed an appropriate med which has helped immensely. This was follow-up

I was impressed with the rapidity with which Dr Tuyama analyzed my condition, diagnosed it accurately, and prescribed a treatment that worked, all with professional patience and seeing me for the first time.
I have had in-person and telehealth appointments with Dr. Tuyama and she has been present and nurturing every time. It's hard to find a doctor that truly shows you they care. I feel extremely lucky that I found that in Dr. Tuyama. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those who have felt unheard by practitioners in the past. I honestly wish more doctors were as detail-oriented and curious about their patient's overall health as much as Dr. Tuyama.
I had some concerns with my colon and she was very helpful and took care of my issue right away. Within just a few days, I was able to come in for an appointment and a colonoscopy.
