I have had in-person and telehealth appointments with Dr. Tuyama and she has been present and nurturing every time. It's hard to find a doctor that truly shows you they care. I feel extremely lucky that I found that in Dr. Tuyama. I would recommend her to anyone, especially those who have felt unheard by practitioners in the past. I honestly wish more doctors were as detail-oriented and curious about their patient's overall health as much as Dr. Tuyama.
I had some concerns with my colon and she was very helpful and took care of my issue right away. Within just a few days, I was able to come in for an appointment and a colonoscopy.

Dr Toyama was very professional, thorough with explaining the procedure, and possessed a great level of decorum. The facility was friendly and professional as well. Highly recommend this facility.
I was looking for a GI and was drawn by reviews saying that Dr. Tuyama was patient and thorough. I found this to be very true and she also struck me as smart, down to earth, understanding and caring. She spent a good amount of time with me, answered all of my questions without rushing me and addressed all of the concerns that had led me to make the appointment with advice, reassurances and referrals. I only met her this one time so far but had a great experience and hope to continue using her.
She agreed to accommodate me despite her busy schedule, taking the time to thoroughly examine and listen to me. Doctors like her are truly valued in today's world.

Service was fast and attentive from check-in to meeting with Dr. Tuyama. Found her to be honest and helpful with my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend. Healthcare at the moment is more challenging than ever with billing and payments, it's a relief to at least have portion of a medical visit to be sane and calming.
Dr. Tuyama took considerable time to review and understand my symptom during my initial appointment.
