I had a good experience with Asheville Gastroenteterology. They were very kind and knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable. Everyone was very professional. I felt like I was in good hands. The 5 days of preparation was uncomfortable to go through, but necessary in order to get a clear picture of the colon. The staff at Asheville Gastroenterology gave me very good directions for the 5 day preparation leading up to the Colonoscopy. I would highly recommend them.

I visited DHP digestive health partners, and saw Dr. Evan Tiderington on 5/14/2025.  My wait time was probably less than 10 minutes. My wait time in the patient examine room was probably more like 5 to 7 minutes.  The nurse was very friendly and made me feel very much at ease and when Dr. Tiderington came in, he was very professional. Listen to everything I had to say, asked me questions, I felt very comfortable with him. I would highly recommend him.

My care and personal on-site experience was 5-stars all around. However, Something must be done about the phones. As you know, you send several reminder texts and calls and often ask for a call back. I have spent more than and hour on hold before giving up. I was NEVER able to get through on a call back....

Front door to the exit, the staff was highly efficient, well-informed of procedures, and attentive to my care. This is a high energy crew -- everyone moves quickly and still made me feel that I was at the top of the attention list.

The biggest problem is not being able to call and talk to an actual person. They sent an email that needed a code you have to call to get the code and no one would answer, I finally had to get off work early and drive to the office to tato someone.

The actual visit for my colonoscopy went very well indeed, and merited a 5-star rating, with friendly and efficient staff and very competent care. It was issues with the Colon prep that merit a lower rating. I am a physician myself, and have personally undergone several colonoscopies and removal of polyps, so I'm not criticizing colon preps in general, they are never much fun. But in this case, I was required to order the prep medications from a specific place, (it wasn't available elsewhere, I tried) they were inordinatel... read more

Once you finally make it to your colonoscopy it is a seamless experience! Not the scheduling aspect. I found it difficult to schedule and appointment, actually had to come in the building to get excellent customer service after I made many phone calls, placed on hold, told I would be called back and never did. Even buying my prep from gift health took days and several phone calls and attempts to maneuver the computer system and make the purchase. It was a long ordeal overall and the front part- scheduling and buying needed p... read more

When u are at the office it's great but trying to reach them or get paperwork filled out has been a nightmare!! One of the nurses has made me cry on multiple occasions over the phone just for trying to get FMLA filled correctly

A couple of things that could be improved....my i.v. really bruised the top of my hand. I think that could have been removed before the anesthesia wore off. It was painful removing it. Also, you should have some kleenex or toilet paper in the recovery bays. My rear end was wet and gross when I came out of the anesthesia. I was told to get dressed and I had nothing to use to dry myself.
