This was an appointment and procedure I was DREADING! The prep was absolutely horrendous, however, my experience at the office was great! Check-in was friendly, smooth and efficient. Wait time was not long. I don’t remember my nurses name but she was wonderful!!!! I hate needles/IV’s! She has a true gift, I felt a brief pinch and she was done! Years ago, I had a very bad experience with Asheville Gastro and really avoided returning until my primary doctor wouldn't let me avoid it any longer. The recent experience I had was a completely different story. Once the referral was received, the scheduler politely and professionally guided me through the necessary intake procedures. Everything from the scheduling to the pre-visit communications to the day-of procedure was handled thoroughly and professionally. There is a lot to be aware of with this procedure, especially the prep, so the detailed and regular reminders were super helpful. The staff were all fantastic too, which says a lot knowing how hard they are working and how many folks they see each day.
