Dr. Goldstein made me feel very comfortable during my procedure and was very calm, patient, explained things in advance and during the visit, and was not rushed at all. I would definitely recommend him and the NYGA practice.
Dr. Yang was incredibly professional and diligent. I went in for a virtual visit on a Thursday afternoon to describe my symptoms and she instantly knew that things were serious, which led her to change her schedule a bit and schedule an upper GI endoscopy at 7am the next day. Even when I was late, she examined my esophagus carefully and prescribed the correct treatment. Over secure message she answered all my questions thoughtfully and helped me feel at ease with our treatment plan.

Dr. Yang is the best kind of doctor: competent, kind and gentle. I was dreading my colonoscopy and she made it as simple and quick as possible.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Kavaler for many years. In additional to being a great doctor and surgeon, he is also a compassionate. kind and patient human being.
My husband is elderly with multiple serious health issues. Dr. Kavaler advised us up front that his colonoscopy must be done in a hospital setting, which Dr. Kavaler does not do. In spite of that we had a lengthy discussion In which he patiently advised us on how to proceed elsewhere. He kindly offered to be of any help he could in the future. My husband and I felt well directed after our conversation. Also, he has done my colonoscopies in the past and I will continue to go to him in the future. Excellent bedside manner.
