I’ve had more interaction with the cashier at a fast food “drive thru” window than I had with Dr. Tuyama. Zero bedside manner. The practice communicates almost entirely through text and patient portal. Lab results were finally posted on the portal a full 13 calendar days after the procedure. Awful. Don't waste your time. I could have saved money on a copay and my time if I just read the reviews. she asked nothing personal and told me NOTHING new, and I basically was brought to tears in her office by saying that I wasn't listened to by any of the doctors I'd seen in the past. I told her that I KNEW something was wrong and that it wasn't normal. She claimed that because I have had similar issues in the past that it was likely that. Had an office visit. She told basically what I already knew and recommended a CT scan of the abdomen. She related that the results would be back to her the same day and she would call me the same day or the next day. I had the scan the next day, she never called me. 4 days later I called her. She didn't realize she had even ordered the test until I asked her to review her paperwork, then the light buld went on and she found it. She wanted me to continue treatment with her, I don't think so.
