Dr Kavaler is great; whenever we have concerns he listens and importantly also shows real urgency about alleviating concerns - he doesn't sit on test results or make you wait; if he gets something you should know about he makes a point of getting in touch with you ASAP to let you know.
Dr Kavaler is one of the most respected, knowledgeable, caring and competent GI specialists. I would recommend him to anyone seeking GI assessment , including Colonoscopy, Endoscopy, etc. He is the best.

Colonoscopy procedure went very well. Everyone knows the run-up process to the actual procedure is quite annoying, unpleasant even, and there is no way to get around that, but the procedure itself -- the scoping -- went off exceedingly well. The facilities are set up to be efficient, clean and friendly. Was in and out quickly (not unimportant because by the time you get there, you will be quite hungry). Drs. Dr.Kavaler immediately made me feel comfortable, asked all the right questions and put me at ease when discussing a procedure I needed. One of the best Doctor’s I’ve been to, doesn’t rush you and makes sure to answer all your questions. He also went above and beyond by directly connecting with referred specialists and making sure insurance covered a necessary and important procedure. He brings a human touch that is refreshing.
Dr. Kavaler is top notch. Excellent practitioner with great bedside manner. He is able to keep you at ease and explain the procedure and results in an understanding and compassionate way. Highly recommend.
