Unlike other GIs I had seen, Dr George was willing to listen to my concerns and preferences regarding treatment. He supported my wishes to deviate from current treatment guidelines- a situation where other providers may have dismissed me from their practice. Providers that validate patient concerns and honor patient preferences can be tough to find. Because of this, I have referred friends and family to him.
I had been having stomach issues every day for 7 weeks. I had a colonoscopy, endoscopy and many other tests. We couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Finally, a friend recommended Dr. George. Within 5 minutes he realized I was having a reaction to medication. I stopped the medication and felt better immediately!
Dr George is my gastroenterologist who has performed several endoscopes and colonoscopies for me . Aside from his tremendous knowledge, he is a kind patient man Who combines the best of medicine with the best of humanity
Dr. George is an excellent doctor he has helped me through many challenging times with my crohn's disease. He is very knowledgeable overall and has saved me multiple times from discomfort and pain. He also knows a lot about gynecology, dieting right for managing your disease, and general health information. I never feel my appointments are rushed and he also is very quick to reply to me via the patient portal and/or phone calls. Very resourceful and smart doctor wish I could give 10 stars!

Dr. George is an excellent clinician with a calm and comforting demeanor. His pleasant, straight forward, informative approach with patients is ideal.
Dr. George is just one of those Dr.'s you feel safe with. He's super knowledgeable on all aspects of IBD and he is extremely thorough. Also great bedside manner.
I have a frustrating and complicated medical history. Dr. George always manages to consider the whole picture and make decisions that will benefit my overall health, not merely the issue in his specialty. I have been very sick and literally credit him with saving my life. I no longer live locally and travel into Manhattan just to see him. I will never switch to another doctor.
