We often say, “It okay to not be okay.” By that we mean, you don’t have to be perfect or have it all together to come to Eastside. You don’t have to put on a mask or pretend your life is great just to show up.

As someone who rarely goes to church I have to admit, this place is quite nice. It's not your traditional church. Only been a few times but I've always been greeted warmly. They've usually got some type of food and drink there as well as coffee inside the lobby. Deeper inside, the sanctuary has ample room. Seats are comfortable. Super fun and modern church. Loving and accepting of all sinners. You don’t feel judged when you walk in and the life groups are life changing. They provide an experience of worship that is unmatched and have created a sense of community that is not present in any other Richmond church.
This church has spirit-filled worship and Pastor Virgil delivers the Word, unapologetically. I’ve searched high and low for a church family like this beacon of light. It’s only here that I found it. It’s okay to not be okay and we’re imperfect people trusting a risen savior. Come feel the love of Jesus at Eastside!
Your church is a true blessing. I was on the phone with our director and telling her that our order of masks was cancelled this morning. I was very stressed and worried about how we were going to protect our elderly clients and our staff. A lady from your church brought in handmade masks that your church family made. We can not thank you enough for helping to keep our community safe.
Friendly clean open and inviting to new visitors. However there is no physical Christian imigary such as the cross in the worship area. No literature stating the creed or vision of the church for visitors to check the legitimacy of its dogma and doctrine. The pastors messages are on point with the word of God.
