Dr. Jaffin clearly explained the procedure in our initial appt and advised on am appropriatePrep for the procedure. The procedure took place exactly on time and Dr. jaffinVery clearly presented the results orally and in written form.
Dr. Jaffin listened carefully to my symptoms. After an examination, he was able to recommend treatments that would help. Dr. Jaffin informed me of the steps I needed to do before our next visit. When you leave a doctor’s office feeling informed and competent to assist in your treatment plan, it’s a great feeling.
I am commenting on my experience with Dr. Jaffin who has treated me for ulcerative colitis since 2022. With him, I have always felt like a partner in my own healing rather than a passive patient. He listens well, is responsive, is patient and kind. He has all the qualities anyone would want in their physician. I feel fortunate to be under his care.

Dr. Jaffin's patient and detailed explanations of procedures, alternatives, understanding of and advice regarding symptoms and relief are (and have always been) appreciated.
Dr. Jaffin is a kind, compassionate, engaging and knowledgeable physician. He has been my GI for 14yrs and was highly recommended to me after I had suffered serious abdominal problems and needed a second opinion. I trust his advice and defer to him on all GI matters. He does all my procedures from endoscopies to colonoscopies along with routine medical appointments. I live on Long Island and have no issue with traveling into the city to receive his treatment and care. I highly recommend him for any GI issue.
The doctor was thorough and I felt very comfortable with him. He listened to everything I told him and he typed it into his computer. Since this was my first visit, I didn’t feel afraid to ask him any questions. I definitely would recommend him.
