Dr Kornbluth is an outstanding doctor and has tremendous knowledge and compassion. I am very thankful that he is my doctor. I highly recommend him. If I could give 10 stars as an option I would.

I had a severe case of ulcerative colitis that wasn't responding to medication. I was recommended to Dr. Kornbluth at a time when I was seriously ill and getting worse. When I met him, it was clear that he was a superior doctor -- smart, kind, and decisive. Through his efforts (including personally spending hours in the middle of the night arranging my emergency surgery) Dr. Kornbluth helped saved my life. Today I lead a normal, fully healthy life thanks to him. I can't thank him enough.

My GI in Connecticut referred my to see Dr. Kornbluth for a consult due to my increase in crohns symptoms which weren't responding well to remicade. I was surprised at the amount of time he took with me to look at my chart and listen to my concerns. He made a few changes in my meds and had a few creative interventions. I'm now 7 years in remission and am so grateful to him. He's also extremely bright and may seem a bit quirky but medically he's spot on.

Dr. Kornbluth is very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. He is very willing to work with you as a patient, and views you as a human with emotions and needs beyond just treatment. His explanations are intelligible and his staff is friendly. He does not make you feel rushed. Just a note - he does not take insurance, which is openly communicated, but the visit is worth the cost and you can always submit it on your own for whatever the out of network coverage is.

This doctor is the guru of gastroenterologists. He is the kindest, most knowledgeable and compassionate of doctors. He will take all the time that you require. There is no rush. He gives a full and meaningful evaluation and talks through all your questions and gives his opinions without haste. This is the kind of doctor you want to wait for - because he is giving the patient ahead of you the same time and respect that you will receive. He is the kind of doctor people wish there were more of.

I'm a Nurse at a NYC hospital with my pick of doctors, but Dr. Kornbluth has been my GI Dr.for over 20 years. I recently had multiple surgeries for my colitis despite Dr K trying every available treatment option and study drug.I would not have made it thru without him.His expertise as a diagnostician, knowledge of latest drugs his accessability and great compassion makes him the best in his field. wait time can be lengthy at times since he takes the time needed with every patient but so worth it!

He has excellent bed side manner. Always makes you feel comfortable and answers all questions. He listens and easy to talk to. He genuinely cares for his patients. His staff is always friendly and helpful. He is my favorite doctor. I have Ulcerative Colitis. He saved my life in 2001. I was in the hospital for 30 days under his care. My health greatly improved. I have been in remission for 7 years. I see him every year for a check up.

There is literally no doctor like him! He has been the only Doctor able to get my colitis under control. He is passionate and great at what he does! I have never had a doctor spend more time with me trying to understand my history and helping me solve my issues. Wish I found him back in 2007!
